Getting your own domain name is one of the most important things you can do in your business. It's the first step in branding yourself and claiming your business as YOUR'S.
In most network marketing businesses, you're given a link to share with people to get them to your site. And most of the time these links can get kinda lengthy. Take for example my business link: www.lhninternational.com/raydavis . Now that's not too long, but it's hard for people to remember. So I went to Yahoo and got my own domain name for $1.99 for the first year, and now my link is: www.raydavishomebiz.com/ . Much more professional and easier to remember.
So if you're still using the company link, please consider your own special link. It will make you look more professional, and will draw you more business. I like to see a person's name in their link, it makes it YOU, and it makes it more personable.

It took me some time to learn this, but in all you do in your recruiting efforts, there is a much bettr way than following a cold calling script and placing undue pressure on yourself and your prospect for the close, and it's much easier than you think.Once I really understood this one thing, my business REALLY took off!

Instead of going for the hard sell, BE what your prospects are looking for.
What I just said is very subtle, but more powerful than you can imagine.
Instead of reading a script and getting nervous about wether or not you are going to close that particular lead into your business, SHOOT RIGHT PAST IT. Start training them from the get go.
What are you as a sponsor?
You are a COACH that is going to help your prospect get to where they want to go faster and easier than if they tried on their own. So my philosophy is this.....
Start teaching and training your would be recruit BEFORE they are a recruit and watch what happens. They wont know what is happening, but you'll be ATTRACTING them towards you like a magnet instead of forcing them into your business with the hard sell.
Speak to your prospect about what you do, give them advice, steer them in the right direction WHILE they are still PROSPECTS and watch how naturally most will WANT to be a part of whatever you are doing.

As many of you know, I use mostly free methods of advertising to build my business. I also teach my down line these same methods. I wont go into great detail here about what Craigslist is, most of you already know. It's a place where people post ads for things to sell, business opportunities and the such. Thousands of people click onto Craigslist each day looking for work or ways to make money at home. These people can become fresh new leads for you if you position yourself in the proper manner.
The first thing you want to do is go to Craigslist and sign up for an account, this free and only takes a couple minutes. After signing up for an account, you can now post an ad. Go to the home page and click on "small biz ads". Once you are there, look on the top of the page and click on post ad. And also choose a city that you want the ad posted in. This is awesome because you can now reach people in different states and cities.
The Title.
Your title should be eye catching and should make the reader want to click through to read your ad. Make it sound professional and to the point. If your ad title isn't well thought out and eye catching, people will just pass you up. Also make it truthful.
The ad body.
This where you are going to present "part" of your opportunity. Yes, just part. You want your ad to be short and to the point. Yet you want to reveal just enough information to have the reader click you business link to learn more. Be honest and upfront about what you are offering. Don't make it sound cheesy like some get rich quick scam, you really don't want those kinda people in your business anyways. You want quality team members, and that's who you want to attract. Give them enough information to understand what it isn't and what it is, but just enough to force them to want to click on your link.
About posting.
You can post in as many cities as you want, as long as you don't post the same ad each time, they wont let you do it. As long as you change up about 20% of each ad, you will have no problems. Sit down and write out your ad. Then write 5 different versions of that ad. Then post each different add in 5 different cities and states. You can focus on the largest cities, or cities in your area. But I promise, if you will do the what I call "5 N 5"....."5 ads in 5 cities"....each day, you will start to see the leads pouring in. Also, make sure you have some way for these leads to contact you, or for you to capture their information, such as a squeeze page.

One of the most over looked ways to bring in new recruits is to market the products your network marketing company offers.
All the top earners have Google Adword campaigns that specifically targets the products for sale.
By creating product sales, you not only make commissions from those sales, but those who continue to buy them are some of your very best leads to recruit into your business.
They are the ones who will be the most excited and their enthusiasm will be contagious.
It's amazing how simple this concept is and it's so overlooked. I am sure part of the reason you got involved in the first place was because of the products. So market them!
Plus, you will retain these people much longer than just recruits who only care about the commissions. The product users are your key to building long lasting residual income.
